From £600BDSM: What the Listing Covers
BDSM is four things in one abbreviation: bondage and discipline, dominance and submission, sadism and masochism. Almost nobody offering it offers all four, which is why the word on its own settles very little.
Establish which part
Before anything else. The distance between light restraint and the far end of that list is enormous, and a companion listing BDSM has told you the subject is open for discussion rather than that any specific thing is agreed.
The neighbouring entries are more specific and often more useful: domination where she leads, submissive where she does not, spanking at the mild end.
Limits and a word that stops it
Agreed in advance, every time, and not negotiable mid-session. An experienced companion will raise this before you do and will be direct about it. One who does not raise it at all is telling you something about their experience.
Nothing agreed beforehand obliges either of you to continue. Either person can stop the session at any point, and that applies in both directions.
Notice and setting
Equipment does not travel well and a properly set up incall is a specific thing. Same-day is often workable, same-hour rarely is.
What it costs
Above the standard rate, commonly by half or more, with two hour minimums usual.
Companions who offer BDSM are listed with rates and areas.
